About the Workshop

This is an introductory workshop to provide general educators with knowledge to effectively include students with Autism in the general education setting.

 

Participants will be able to 1).Identify the characteristics of Autism, 2). Determine how to best meet the needs of students with autism in the general education setting 3). Identify student’s social emotional needs 4). Implement strategies to support students academically and emotionally  

Outcome

  • Deepen participants’ content knowledge in one or more content (subject) areas

  • Will lead to improved student learning
