September 16, 2021 Non-Violent Crisis Intervention Initial Training Program
Time: 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. (with lunch on your own outside the building)
Presenters: L.E.A.S.E. Certified CPI Instructors
Cost: Cost of Participant Book and Materials – District will be billed after training
Credit: 8 CPDU’s and Social Worker CEU’s will be provided
Maximum number of participants will depend on current CDC capacity guidelines.
About the Workshop
Attendance at this session completes the Initial Training for Non-Violent Crisis Intervention Training. This training will enable participants to learn and practice safe, non-harmful techniques to help when confronted with a potential crisis situation. The training will provide staff with a philosophy of care, non-physical methods for preventing or managing disruptive behaviors before the situation involves physical aggression. Personal safety, hands-on team control, and team strategies are also included. Upon successful completion of this session, you will receive a CPI certification card that is good for one year.
